Trying to glue two pieces of nylon sheet (2mm thickness) together - any ideas what works best?

The trouble with nylon is it was made to resist chemicals the best way is to melt it together. With a nylon sealer you may also look for nylon glue at your hardware store but it is a pain to work with. Once you apply it you can not let the parts move at all

Have a word with Per at Lindstrand Balloons. He made Richard Branson's balloons and if he doesn't know how to glue nylon sheets together, nobody will!

tricky.

Most strong glues are solvent based hence are likely to dissolve the nylon. Water based is probably the best thing to go for, but they are not very strong.

I'm sorry but for all the advice given, you cannot glue nylon. It has to heat welded.

The plastics glue in the Uhu Creativ range might work.
