This may sound cliche', but money isn't everything. Try to find a job that in a field you are truly interested in. Also consider how much travel would be involved. Sales experience can be very valuable, in that it can expose you to so many different industries. It is really a decision you have to make yourself. People that know you well can help the most.

If you like sales and enjoy working with people is suggest that you go with the sales job. If you are looking for a salary only be aware the job most likely will be a job you wont like. In the long run work experience is the best way to boost your potential income. My opinion is only that. You still have a tough choice to make.

Depends on what YOU want out of life. You may find that you're not that good at sales anyway. BUT, you should get the engineering experience first, so that if you decide to try sales later, you'll be able to come back.

My advice is that as a fresh enggr, you should acquire more knowledges in the field. The field of engg(any branch) is very wide today.Don't take out from this field because of lack of updating.
