My daughter is 5 months old and whenever she is tired and I try putting her to sleep she just screams and screams. I don't know what to do eventually she falls asleep but is there any way to avoid the screaming. Thanks!

My wifes Goldfish is sick and we called the vet and over the phone they told me that you can get some drops from Wal-Mart for it.So we did that and it seemed to have made it sicker.The fish is in one place just sittin at the bottom of the tank.With the cost of a trip to the vet verses the cost of the fish, what should we do?

So you give your suitcase to the airline and they present it, on a carousel to anyone who wants it, at the end of the flight. No control at all. Having flown today I'm sure my case was stolen, I saw them do it much to my upset, however at the time I was thinking there must be two similar suitcase on the flight, apparently not they had mine, which is approx £400 in value. I didnt think it was a stealing zone! I think there's a case for airlines handing back luggage in a more controlled way, if its more than just me who has suffered like this, I aim to present the cases to the media, Watchdog maybe. Any info gratefully received.

After downloading IE7, I am unable to connect to the internet. I did this for my laptop and it worked just fine, but I recently purchased a Dell Desktop and the 2 times I tried to install IE7, it was unable to connect. Is there a setting I need to en(dis)able. Wondering if there is a logical solution.

My son will be 5 in March and he has been reading and spelling for over a year. He loves math too- adding and subtracting even into negative numbers. I have to ask him to put down his math book and go outside and play! He spells backwards outloud (on his own) and works on 1st grade books without any pressure from us. He is constantly asking us questions about spelling and rhyming etc and is an amazing artist too. I am just worried that he will be bored in school. Anyone have a similar situation and how did you deal with it and the teacher?

I have two best friends. A girl, and a boy. They have been dating for a year, recently split up for a month, and are now back together. I've kept the friendship mutual between the both, the girl didn't know I was talking to her ex still. But she told me that she wanted to be single for a month. I believe in not mediating between relationships because if they were meant to get back together, they had to do it themselves, not by me trying to get bettween them. They just ended the relationship not wanting to talk to each other....so I wasn't going to be the mediator. She's mad that I didn't tell her that I was talking to him, and she said as a best friend, that I should have told her that he still had feelings for her. I told her that she didnt ask me to get involved, and that I kept my mouth shut between both of them. was my reasoning correct? He would tell me personal stuff not to tell her, and she would do the same. and she did say she wanted to be single to concentrate on school....

Teachers and teachers unions consistantly fight against any sort of basic teacher competency testing. Why is it that teachers are the only professional group in the US who believe they should not have to demonstrate a mimimum level of competency (basicaly 9th grade equivalent) in order to engage in their profession? By the way, most teachers I have met are complete idiots. I actually understand why they oppose this notion; because most would fail. "Education" as a university major is a very bad joke and produces some of the greatest morons in our society.

It has been about three days sense I havent fed my two oscars,because I hurt my back real bad and doc. wants me on bed rest.Is there anything , anything at all I could feed them??I know about the beef heart, which I dont have. Ca'nt go outside and get worms. Can they eat bread , crackers..please help,, And another thing. Do they sleep. I have been wanting to ask this question for a long time.Do oscars sleep?? Because we have our oscars out by the kitchen and we shut off all the lights. Well, I get up at night to get something to drink.I will turn the lights on and both oscars are floating on top of the water on their side, like they are asleep. Then the light must scare them or something because they start to jump and splash. Lord, I've never seen this. I thought they was coming up out of the tank.So I figure they was asleep and the olighht came on and scared them. Does anybody agree????

I want to write invitations for a wedding reception and would like to put a notation about gifts. The couple needs money for their honeymoon. What would be the best way to put that in an invitation or is this rude to do. The couple I am talking about are older and they both had their own houses and their combined stuff is too much already.
