Try a few of these things if you haven't already. A nighttime bath helps, warm her nighttime bottle, rock her, play music (babies love music). I have a 7 week old and these things help some, she's already slept through the night a few times.

I know the screaming is frustrating but doesn't last as long as most people think I read somewhere to -look @ the clock give it 10(5 min. even) and if they haven't stopped by then go & pick them up there is something wrong. I found it usually only lasted about 2 min(which can seem like an eternity to a parent) and she would be fast asleep.

My baby did that too. (sometimes she still does) It is frustrating. But don't let it get you upset because she can sense your frustration and it can make her screaming worse. All of these answers are great. With time you will figure out which ones work for her. I have also taken my baby for rides in the car. It would calm her down really fast and she would go right to sleep. I have even heard of some people running the vaccuum cleaner for a few minutes.
Good luck and hang in there. It does get better!

She's fighting her sleep which is why she's screaming before she goes to bed. Try laying her down a little before she gets sleepy so she can relax and gently fall asleep.

baby are going to babies but the best thing i can tell you is to work with your daughter you need to get her into a routine. Maybe play some music before you put her to sleep or give her a stuff animal and every time you do this she will know that it is time for her to go to sleep.

Most babies cant put themselves to sleep, they need help.
Some babies need to fuss a little to fall asleep even if you are comforting them.
Make sure to rule out pain or sickness

Try rocking her, she sounds like she needs some attention. Shell fall asleep in your arms and then you can put her down.

Maybe she has to poop, who knows, I dont understand children.
Just rock her, have some light classical music going, in a dim atmosphere, I'm getting tired just thinking about it
