I live in Atlanta. There is a local priest of the Catholic faith who is gay, and now, the church is apparently firing him, or at least not permitting him to remain the leader of that Church where he is. I am not sure, but I think that he just recently came out with the news that he is gay.

I have mixed feelings about this.

On the one hand, I know that God loves all of his children, and hence, I believe we should accept people despite their sins. In that respect, I am no better than he (this priest).

But when I consider his position of authority in the church, I question the morality of him occupying said position (no sexual pun intended whatsoever).

How can little kids be taught the Bible and the nature of God by this man without being confused by the psychosexually aberrant knowledge about the man's lifestyle?

Please tell me what you think. Be honest.

How do you feel about nanaotechnolgy, what is your perception of it? Do you think this will lead to utopiean dream? or will the world get swallowed in grey goo? I'm intrested in the social aspects of how we as people will interact with the technology, rarther than tech specifics themselves. Why is it hyped up? Why are their protests about it? Will it be in the hands of the masses, or only those that can afford? What applications will we see, not just medical. Will we really all be alchemists or try to turn pencils into diamond? Will we see people embrace this technology, or will people fear it and turn away?

I really want to talk with my ex of 5 years. He broke up with me 8 months ago, and I haven't communicated with him since. I just want to know why he ended things so suddenly. I am racking my brain on reasons why this happened (i know that there was no other girl, etc...) and I hate not having closure. I guess I never thought that after dating so long, and how much we "loved" eachother, that he could just pick up and walk away like he did. I really want to know how he feels, or felt...
PS- Since he doesn't have a new girlfriend so should I call him?
PSS- I can't stop thinking about this because it's like I meant nothing to him, I want to know that what we had wasn't a big joke.

Does it make me a bad mother to make my grown son and his wife pay their own bills, I have been cut off from seeing my grandson because I turned off their cell phone for not paying the bill. And he had the money because he was working for my husband at the time! I gave them a place to live and helped them with things for the new baby, all at no cost untill they were on their own.I now expect them to provide for their child and be responsible for their bills. They haven't been paying any bills, their car insurance is cut off, electric to be turned off, late on the rent, and so on. I know they have the money to pay these things if they would budget and not waste it on drive thru dinners and the latest DVD out on the market! I hate not seeing my grandson, MY daughter-in-law is using him as a pawn! She has also used him against my son already and he's only 3-mos old. She even went so far as to burn all the things that I bought for him! And they sure can't afford to replace them.

i have this rabbit for the last 2 years. i dont know how old he is exactly since i found him back then. i figured he is now 3 to 4 years old. and the problem is that in the last 3 weeks, he has been shedding like crazy. i mean big time. i kind of predict its because of the odd warm weather here in italy, but im starting to think....

do all rabbits of these breed shed so so so much when the weather is like this?

just to give you an idea of how much he sheds, there are tumble weeds of his fur every single day inside the house. no matter how much i brush him and bath him daily it keeps on falling off and he isnt going bald or anything.

my question, has this happened to your rabbit? do certain rabbits naturally shed to the extreme likethis one?

I attended the 2004 games in Athens, buying all of my tix over a year in advance. Upon getting there, there were many tix still available, so for events that we particularly enjoyed(beach volleyball) we bought more tickets and had better seats than the one's we'd bought over a year ago!! I don't want that to happen again! Any tips on accommodations would be great too!!! We stayed in an apartment for two weeks in Athens, wouldn't mind doing the same thing again for the right price:)
