If you're cooking for two, you want good ingredients and don't go cheap or you'll wind up with an OK instead of a WOW for dinner.

Lobster Tails are easy. Cook these right before your steaks are finished so that they both are ready at the same time. Just don't over cook them or they will be tough and NEVER boil them! Broiled or char-grilled over high heat are the preferred method. Be sure to devein the tail by using some heavy scissors to cut along the back of the tail and removing the entrails. Leave the meat in the shell as this will provide a moister, more succulent meat. Cook with a little drizzle of olive oil, just until the meat turns white through the thickest part. (About 3-5 mins)

Recommended steak cuts: Porterhouse, Rib Eye, or Filet The trick to cooking steak is to use a very high heat, don't overcook it, and never use a fork so the juices stay inside while cooking.

Hope this helps...

I don't know about types of steaks, but adelicious and easy way to cook steak is first cover with salt, pepper, parsley, thyme, and steak rub. N ext is put in a pan, add a LITTLE water--just enough to cover bottom.Add 2-3 tbs of butter, cut up.Fry till brown on both sides, turning intermeditealy. DO NOT add more water !

Lobster tails can be boiled water <2-3" over the tails>, plus add a little salt and butter. Keep boiling till bright red on outside.

Ribeye steak with the bone in. Grill them up and season with salt and pepper. Steam the lobster tails.
