tightness in my throat, hurts to swallow, also wayy back of tongue hurts could this be strep?

You need to seek medical attention. It could be a number of serious illnesses varying down to the not so serious. It could range from Strep throat to Mono to Veneral Disease or it could be as simple as thyroid or allergies. It is best to consult a physician for proper diagnosis.

Sounds like an infection. Is the infection caused by a strep bacteria? No one can tell without a culture!

it could be. Do you have lumps on the back of your neck? and are your glands swallon under your jaw bone? If so you need to go to your family doctor and get tested for mano or strep.
