We have been together for about a year, and there isn't anyone I love more. She is a married woman of about 10 years and is 9 years younger than I am. I have just found out a few weeks ago that her husband has some kind of horrible skin disease (red and itchy and peeling...) that has started to spread out all over his body and constantly needs medical attention. Not only that, he also has Hepatitis C, and I understand that is contagious, eventhough the skin disease isn't. Melanie (not her real name), kept telling me that she wanted to live with me, and her husband will let her go if his conditions start to get really bad. I don't know if she gets anything from him, but it scares the S. out of me just thinking about it. I do love her very much, but at the same time, I don't like being sick. I'd rather die than lying on the bed and live like a stiff. Her husband is a wealthy business man and is about my age. I don't know if that has anything to do with my quesiton...

My mom has the flu and has went to the doctor ....they gave her Tamiflu and told her to take tylenol every four hours. However, today she has a 104 temp (yesterday it was 103 when i took her to the doctor ).....should I take her back to the er since it is going up?

I would like to tart a strength trianing program and have been told to incorporate the deadlift into my routine. However, I see so many variations such as a Romanian deadlift, stiff-legged deadlift, etc., and I do not know which is the best to perform to strengthen my lower back? We are done paying on our bankruptcy plan. We were Chapter 13 for 36 months and we just made our last payment this month. Here is our problem: My husband totalled his truck last Friday and the insurance gave us $2756. drugs have ruined my life,and i've never even tried them! never even smoked a *** - yet, i end up with the biggest stoner going for a boyfriend. don't get me wrong - i love the guy to bits, but everythings spiralling downwards now. I've been with him for over a year now, and it's getting harder and harder to cope. Admittedly, he has got so much better since the start - he used to smoke between 40 and sometimes up to 60 spliffs a day - now he's down to an absolute maximum of 4 a day. i know its hard for an addict to give something up but its wearing me down. the lies that are involved with a drug addict are unbelievable - and those few times he does smoke now - it breaks my heart every time it happens - drugs come over everything in his life - is anyone else in the same situation?? help!

They've never known anything but the almost-uninterrupted quarter century of prosperity that we've had since Ronald Reagan reversed many of the Keynesian economic policies that had resulted in an economy measured by the "misery index."

They now seem to take economic good times for granted.

This is in part because Clinton, while he reformed welfare, expanded free trade agreements, cut corporate taxes, deregulated the financial services industry and did almost nothing to reverse Reagan's economic policies, was a Democrat - - - they seem to think that Dean / Pelosi / Kennedy et al, who consistently opposed these policies whether implemented by a Republican or a Democrat, would produce the same results.

I've long argued that Econ 101 should be part of the high school curriculum. Should Economic History be taught too?

It's not like I go around flagging all of thier answers that I don't agree with. I mean isn't there something about turning the other cheek in the bible? Don't be so petty. Most people in the world don't agree with you, you can believe I'm going to hell, it really doesn't bother me what you believe. I might believe in unicorns or gnomes, and that shouldn't bother you either. People's beliefs are thier own. So I ask, why force yours on me? I want to know why my computer keeps crashing any time I try to save pictures? It's done this 4 times in 3 days and 27 times in 3 months. I've had to reboot my computer whenever it won't let me save pictures as .jpg format. What do I do?
