No...free you mind. Choice is the American way. You have a choice, so should they. They do not want abortions to be mandatory...everyone has the right to choose yea or nah. Free your heart as well. Do you support the war in Iraq?...a lot of human being disposed of there as well. What about the death penalty? Support that? You cannot have it every way. Human life is not just precious when it suits your political agenda. So let your voice be heard, but the other side's voice is just as valid...and its the law. And just this little hint....when a word begins with a vowel..the article in front of it should be an...not and..the English language is precious too.
And to add another thought...AMEN Lori Beth...

I think they rejoice in declaring their skin a boundary beyond which no government of mostly men, like you and me, who will never be pregnant or endure the substantial risks of childbirth, should legislate.
A cancer is also a naturally occuring growth of cells inside your body. If the government should decide that removing tumors violates God's will for you to die, you'd be fine with the government telling you what you can and can't do medically? Some religions forbid transfusions, transplants, innoculations because they say it violates God's word also. Should we let the government enact that into law as well?
I support choice, not because I support abortion, but because I reject the notion of a governmental interest in declaring a woman an incubator whose body is not her own. It is a malignant over-reach and a governmental intrusion into private matters that cannot be allowed.

They are a spectacle just as much as the women that attend Pro Life rallies. I think they are happy that they have the right to choose.

No. I don't agree with them, but I don't think their expression of free speech is an obscene spectacle.

Almost as bad as the people holding up pictures of dead fetuses!
This is an issue that will never be fully supported from either side, and both sides of this are equally forceful in their practices... offensive and obscene as well.

Nacho Libre ... I don't want to fan the flames, but your observation is a keen one; I have to agree.
By your words, it seems that at the very least, their comments/protests should not be presented in such a boisterous, proud, and obnoxious manner. Apparently their actions make it appear as though they're actually proud.
Well, once again, it may be inflammatory to make the point in this way, but I agree with you. I don't know a solution, but it seems like a fact of life. I may have to accept their view, but I'll never get used to it.
And when the subject of choice comes up, I have to ask whose choice they're referring to? The baby's? There's something wrong with this picture. There ought to be a better way.
Bless you, Nacho.

Seems alot less obscene compared to Pro-Lifers showing 8 foot banners with dead babies on it for children to view.

They are demonstrating their right to privacy in their medical decisions.
No one is celebrating the act of an abortion. That's just absurd.
Pro-Choice doesn't mean Pro-abortion, it simply means Pro Choice.

You are on a women-hating mission. I get that you are pro-life. You are very transparent. You should be careful what you say because you don't know what you are talking about and when you make such comments, you are hurting others.

They're not an obscene spectacle. They are exercising their patriotic right to defend their rights against those who would impose their silly religious ideas on them.
