I went to bootdisk.com and downloaded the 4-floppy disk images, in order to run a repair. It did not repair things. I ran both repair options. It gets to the blue startup screen, it then reboots before it says "Windows is starting up". Obviously it's something to do with the boot files. Without the win2k installation cd, is there ANY WAY to fix things?

I'm a single mom to a 19 mo.old. I adore him, but as a first time mom, I'm unsure if he spends too much time around me? He'd much rather follow me into every room (bathroom too), instead of playing with his toys or watching a video. Some toddlers sit happily in front of a TV but mine doesn't. I prefer he not watch too much, but a little more space from him would also be nice at times. Even if we are sitting in his playroom, he jumps on me, makes smiley faces at me, does "toddler babble" at me, etc. If I get up to leave, even for a minute, he gets upset. It's cute but sometimes hard.

I work fulltime and he's in daycare, otherwise, I'm with him. I take him everywere I go since I also don't have family that can watch him. Sitters are expensive, but occasionally I know I probably need to have a night to myself since I never do anything alone.

Do more experienced moms feel that he is just being a typical toddler? Do we spend too much time together? I never want to neglect him.

I saw the question linked below, and nearly keeled over. I answered the question as best I could, explaining what a professor's job actually entails. Do college students really think all we do is teach class and then go home?

Honestly, what do you think your professors' work involves?
(I'm almost afraid to see your answers.)

We have been seeing each other for 7 months, he's so nice to me but it just doesn't feel right enough to carry on with the relationship. He's such a nice guy and don't want to hurt his feelings, any ideas?

My guy friend was supposed to come over tonight and have dinner with me. I cooked cube steak, cabbage and mash potatoes. He called me and asked me what was I cooking. Instead of saying something like whoa that sounds good. He proceeds to say why did I cook all of that food with a chuckle. I was like thats not alot of food. He said that he thought I was going to cook hamburgers or spaghetti.

What difference does it make to what I cook. It's free and I did it out of the kindness of my heart I wasn't trying to wife him or nothing like that. All week he asked me what I cooked and I told him that I don't cooked that often because I'm by myself. Like I told him tonight about the so-call quantity of the food I cooked. I told him I was going to eat that for my dinner tomorrow as well.

Not to mention that I've loaned him $20 and brought him lunch a couple of days last week. Maybe I've been too nice but he better give me my phucking $20 back or I'm coming to his job Monday!!!

My attention span is weakening, and i can watch my grades slowly decline. I had a bad streak where i used to live with abuse and neglect, which eventually led to drugs, and i used to cut myself. now I'm a 4.0 student, but like I said before, my grades are slowly lowering, and I get these wierd thoughts in my head that are like, sadistic, and evil. they haven't come up as often but i still get them. like "what would happen if I stabbed this person?" and I almost feel like doing it, and I think about how bad it would be, and about how it would change my life forever, then I feel like i want to kill myself instead. I've shrugged it off for awhile, but iIfigured I'd ask around a little. Is there something wrong with me?

I was thinking. I need a manly scented shampoo, enough of this fruity scented shampoo. So should I get a shampoo and add cologne to it? Do you think that would be a good idea? That way if I wear cologne on my body I can match it to smell the same on my hair. A complete uniformed smell.

This is what I had today:
Special K cereal with 2% milk [250 calories]
granola bar [130 calories]
some pickles [0]
noodles [430 calories]
piece of whole wheat bread [90 calories]
2% milk [130 calories]
Special K cereal with 2% milk [300 calories, I had a little more cereal]

Total- 1330
I burned 430 on the treadmill.

I'm so hungry right now, If I go on the treadmill and burn 200 calories, would it be ok if I ate something? I don't have any fruits/veggies left, only pickles =(

$1,000,000,000 for bribing Iraqies to like us on top of the $400,000,000,000 already spent on killing them.

School vouchers is just a way to throw money at the failing school system versus fixing it.

Meanwhile, we can't "afford" to allow seniors to have bargaining power to lower the cost of their prescription drugs?
