Marijuana is much more harmful for you than cigarettes. Studies have shown that there are over 100 bad chemicals in marijuana and one joint is equal to 4 cigarettes when you consider the chances of getting cancer. Pot also causes memory loss, like large amounts of liquor, and causes your breasts to enlarge, if you are a male. Also studies have shown that when you smoke and get direct sunshine on your head it can give you severe headaches, just like some medicines do. The chances of getting into an accident while smoking pot increase dramatically, even more than over drinking. And that id just the tip of the ice burgh; a friend of mine was driving under the influence and came to a stop sign and waited there for a while. When I asked him why he was waiting for he realized that he was at a stop sign, not a traffic light. That scared me very much, I will never put myself in such danger again.....KECK

This is too broad of a question. If you were discussing the health issues regarding smoking marijuana vs. cigarettes, neither are good options, but marijuana smoke is more damaging to the lungs, especially because of the duration of time the smoke is held in the lungs. However, since cigarettes are physically addicting and marijuana is not, tobacco smokers tend to smoke more frequently, so it is likely that they could have more significant lung damage. Now, if you were talking about the psychological effects, it would depend what type of effects you were looking for. Since nicotine is a stimulant, it is said by many to "perk you up" and/or "take the edge off." Marijuana can have a wide array of effects on people and definitely has a more substantial effect on the neurotransmitters than nicotine. Conclusion: they are both damaging!

Cigarettes r worse, very habit forming, Marijuana grows wild, no I don't use it or want it, but I do smoke and can't quit.

Marijuana isn't physically addictive like cigarettes b/c theres no nicotine...so i would say cigarettes

Cigarettes for sure, although prolonged use of tetrahyrdacycline can cause to lose several brain cells.
