We have been seeing each other for 7 months, he's so nice to me but it just doesn't feel right enough to carry on with the relationship. He's such a nice guy and don't want to hurt his feelings, any ideas?

You are not giving us the full story, and you know it. You have your reasons, I am sure. If I found someone who treated me well in the deepest sense of the word, you would not find me hunting for ways to run for my life from him. I would be thinking of ways to return his loyalty and caring and love and kindness and generosity and steadiness and warmth and care of me. The best way to minimize hurting his feelings is to tell him honestly the way you really feel. The truth is better than a friendship or relationship which is based on bits and pieces of things. All you have to do is to be honest with him. It is his responsibility as a man to accept how you feel if you say that that is how you feel. If he is mature, part of his caring for you will include respecting your viewpoint and judgment and feelings, even if you say no. I hope he will be wise enough to honour you, even if you tell him to please go away.

if it doesnt feel right then it just isnt right. some people are just not meant for each other. first of all you have to tell him soon if you are that sure. you dont want to carry on like things are ok. the longer you wait the more its going to hurt him. just tell him the truth. tell him he is a nice guy but just no the guy for you and that there is someone out there that will love him the way he wants to be loved. offer to still stay friends with him. just let him down easy. thats the best advise i can give you. i had to do this before myself. its not easy but then again what is when it comes to relationships. like i said just be honest with him. thats the most important thing. good luck!!

Toughie! You just have to be strong and go ahead and do it. You can only be honest to yourself and to him. He won't understand and he'll think there is someone else etc... and there is nothing you can do about that. You just have to lay it out and then ride the storm.
Then again I may be wrong, and he may say "Thank God for that" as he doesn't feel it either, and he's not been brave enough to finish it.
Just expect the first "worse" scenario

Find him a new girlfriend...
Whatever you do dont simply cut off communication as expect him to ge t the message as he will be very upset and no idea what he did wrong of if he'll do it again with a new girl and this may screw up any chance of futhure relationships
You will hurt himm no matter what but if you like but simply dont fancy him you should say to him that you want to be mates and not feeling chemistry it will be a bit awkard but helping him pull or switching to somone who sees what he thingks of other girls **** will help him find somone new then it makes it easy for you two to be mates as he moves on.

It will hurt him whatever you do but the best thing you can do is do it face to face and don t patronise him with "it's not you it's me" just be honist and as kind as you can but be strong if that is what you realy have to do but just show him respect he will be upset but will also respect you for treating him with enough respect to do it 2 his face never by text it is evil i know people are saying if he is that nice then why leave him but it is your personal choice if it is not right for you then you have to get out it is fairer to both of you good luck with it all

If you no longer wish to be with your boyfriend, then tell him that you are extremely sorry but you cannot carry on with this relationship, and it's nothing that he has done but you do not feel right, even though he has been kindness it's self, it isn't what you want and you are so, so sorry for hurting his feelings. !!

well if hes nice etc why do you want to finish with him ?and maybe get a right psycho for your next boyfriend who only wants to beat you up
why not give him another chance and see how it goes.you have to work at realtionships

Nothing beats face to face. Everyone deserves the dignity of knowing how their partner feels face to face not through e-mail, messenger, etc... Or having to wonder what's wrong with their partner.
