I had luck with pro-active for about a month and then my skin started breaking out again. Arbonne never worked for me. I have tried Clinique (which was okay) and all the drugstore brands. I have had the best luck with clean and clear and with mary Kay. I am on all Mary Kay right now and have no blemishes. I am really happy with it. You might see about finding someone local that can give you samples or a facial to let you see what you think.

First, Proactive is a medication for acne and it's something that should clear up the breakouts but for some doesn't (liike me). Arbonne I had really negative experiences with and decided to try Sensaria Natural Bodycare's line. They're naturally-based products that contain any mineral oil and only the best ingredients to help. My skin has never felt or looked so good. E-mail me at wild_sweet16@yahoo.com and I can tell you more about it. It's also very reasonably priced.

first I would recommend that that you go to a dermatologist. If that is not an option try acne lines from Murad. Patricia Wexler MD or Doctors Dermatlogic Formula. All products are sold at the Bath & Bodyworks Shop. I had no luck with procative, in fact, made my skin worse. I tried Murad and cleaned most of it up. but I am also on perscription medicine as well. So combo of the two.

Proactive does not work. Considering you've already paid so much, I would go to the drugstore and buy Cetaphil cleansing lotion and moisturizing cream. Both are recommended by dermatologists and work greatly over time. The other thing you can do is go up to a Sephora store and ask one of the sales people what products they recommend. They don't work on commission so they aren't trying to sell you the highest priced item, and I've gotten some great recommendations from them.

You are using too much on your skin. No wonder it's broken out. If you scrub your skin too much, it makes acne worse.
Use something with benzoyl peroxide in it, or even better yet, see a dermotologist.
My sons tried that Proactive stuff (luckily I got it when they had a special on QVC) and it just broke them out.
Their doctor put them on Differin gel and antibiotics, and now they have great skin.
The Differin is pretty expensive, though, so if you don't have prescription insurance, ask the doctor what else is good.
The main thing, though, wash with a gentle soap, like Ivory, and knock it off with the cleansers, masques, balancers, etc. You're using too much. And don't scrub real hard. That's hard on your skin too.
And watch what kind of makeup you use, and make sure you wash it off your face every night before you go to bed.
