Our Mitsubishi HD TV purchased from Best Buy and still under warranty stopped working 5 weeks ago. Best Buy Home Service Department tells us that the part is on back order and they keep adding time as to when we will get the part and have our set fixed. We have gone from 11/3 to it will be fixed by 11/7 to 11/16 to 11/20 to 11/27 to 12/1 to 12/17 to 12/20. They also tell us that we can't request a new TV until after 12/ 20 and then we have to wait until it is approved and that could take another 2 weeks . We need Help. We feel we are getting the run around. At any rate why have a service contract if there is no service?

I was sleeping on the couch with the TV on and halfway heard something about New York City banning trans fats in restaurants. Is it true? If it is, what do New Yorkers (or anyone) think about it?

I think it's great but also see that it is going to cause a lot of problems in the restaurant industry.

Me and my boyfriend are thinking of doing Christmas in Florida, we are on a fixed budget and we want to come the week of Christmas, I know its bad timing as it will be crowded...but like, we want a magical Christmas! Any ideas? Warm weather would be nice...possibly Disney...but like I have gotten discouraged because people say its going to be crowded...but how bad is it? The crowds are obviously people who would love a magical Christmas too...I don’t know...and my boyfriend has left me to figure it all out myself!
Any alternate ideas are welcome please...anything!
Also, we were thinking of a cheap 3 day cruise...any ideas?
We will drive out there Thursday night and spend Friday to Tuesday (leave on Tuesday). So just any ideas...help me!

My wife and I have had a pretty tough relationship,been together 6 years and married 2,we've always fought thru the tough times and worked out our problems.Recently she has been paying alot of extra attention towards one of her male co workers,she says they are just friends and thats it,always telling me i have nothing to worry about.My suspicions continued to grow and today i couldn't get ahold of her after she got off work,she is always home after work,always.Instantly i had a sinking feeling in my stomach,so i left work and headed to the place i thought she'd be.Well i found exactly what i thought i would,her and her male co worker together ,supposedly "working".She claims she forgot her phone and thinks i have no reason to be upset,because they are just friends.

Am I paranoid????
Or stupid for not leaving?????

My sister is dealing with this. Her son is 6 years old. He had a close cousin die when he was 3 and still talks about him all the time and his grandpa died this week. He asked why he wasnt breathing during the funeral and he also asked if they were going to put him in the ground and put dirt over him. The only reason she brought him to the funeral was because his grandpa would of wanted him there. He loved his grandchildren dearly.
