Hi Sunshine
Here are the causes. If you want some ideas to heal, just sned me some scribble on email.
Causes of Arthritis
Arthritis is caused by a variety of factors, including joint instability, injuries, age-related changes, toxins, microbes, altered biochemistry, hormonal factors, and genetic predisposition. Yet other environmental, psychological, dietary, and even dental factors have also been found to bring on the condition. In recent years, research conducted by rheumatologists and allergists has concluded that some patients can experience allergy-induced arthritis.
Stress can also be a major factor because it disrupts the body's hormonal balance. Stress related changes in the chemical levels of cortisol can often lead to changes in the immune system. A weakened immune system allows certain bacteria to penetrate the body, possibly leading to forms of arthritis. This sequence often occurs in women undergoing menopause.
Best of health to you

Yes you can. I think the younger that you get this disease the more damage that it does to your bones. But if you are this young and think you have athritis please go to a dr. and get started on medicine. You know there is no cure but I think that if you start young with medicine, proper diet and excerise, maybe you can help yourself when you get older.

It's not typical, but it is possible. Arthritis is a syndrome consisting of several components and if you meet enough of the criteria you could have arthritis. I personally have medical compartment arthritis in one of my knees and the beginnings of arthritis in both shoulders and I am only 26.

Rheumatic fever can affect the joints. Joint involvement manifests as nonspecific inflammation in a synovial biopsy specimen, sometimes with small foci resembling Aschoff bodies (granulomatous collections of leukocytes, myocytes, and interstitial collagen).

It is possible to get arthritis in your early 20's, however if you have soreness or trouble using your hands, wrists, or certain fingers, it is possible that you have carpal tunnel syndrome and not arthritis. Excessive typing, mouse use, and computer use can cause it, especially if your setup is not ergonomically correct.

yes, I know someone who does, and my friend has a 7 yr. old cousin that does too. But in these instances, it has more to do with genetics, not age.
