your local car dealer or auto parts store should be able to help you find what you need. they should be sell GM Goodrinch remanufactured engines that are in most cases better than the original. they have 4 bolt mains and 1.94 valves so they have exellent flow and are heavy duty. they all so produce great power and have exellent warranties. this would be my choice

most machine shops will have a rebuilt 350 sitting around ready to sell to you, since a lot of people use them. You could also have your current one rebuilt. IF nothing else, go to a parts supply place and buy a rebuilt 350. It may take a couple days to get it, but it will be under warranty.

There used to be a company called Masterbuilt Motors in that area of the country. Try giving them a call. They sell rebuilts like candy at the local stop and rob store.

I JUST BROUGHT A CHEVY SILVERADO FOR 400 BUCKAROOS. IT WAS NOT RUNNING, HOWEVER, I WENT TO MY LOCAL PICK A PART AND BROUGHT AN REBUILT ENGINE AND HAD SOME ONE PUT IT IN. A PICK A PART WILL HAVE A GOOD ENGINE IN IT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING MY TRUCK FOR A YEAR WITH NO PROBLEMS.
THE ENGINE SHOULD NOT COST YOU ANY MORE THAN 500.00. JUST LOOK IN YOUR PHONE BOOK. IT MIGHT SEEMS LIKE A HASSLE BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT AND IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT MONEY.

I would think that in Tex-*** that you'd be able to find a lot of
shops around that' d be able to provide you with locations for
re-built engines.
