The Americans have lost 2800 brave young Men and Britain 125.
They gave their lives for the people of Iraq, who seem not to appreciate it......Why do we poke our noses into other peoples affairs? If Countries don't want Democracy, should we force it upon them?

Can a male cop search a female, like a pat down? Can I get out of my car to get air if the cop is taking too long? Do I have to turn my radio off? Do I have to take my sunglasses off? Can I tell the cop what I think of him? Also under what circumstances can I defend myself physically against a cop? How long can I drive before pulling over after a cop turns on his lights?

I have a crush on him, but he really doesn't like much physical contact. our relationship (or, friendship i should say), is mainly based on humor, trust, and just having a great time. not really anything else. but he claims he's never been kissed (HE'S 20 YRS OLD!), and i don't want to ruin his first kiss. SHOULD I JUST GO FOR IT? or NOT????

My parents bought it brand new in 1995, it is running beautifully, we have about 148,250 miles on it. My estimate from my testing, while coming back from a vacation we were cruising at 70-75 mph and it was a 350 mile roadtrip, and my stimate was 22-23 mph highway and about 17-18 city. Is this accurate. I have a GXE model. Any comments complaints on this car.

Towards the end of the Roman Empire, the Christians were used as entertainment for the masses when they were fed to the lions in the Roman Colliseum. The Romans like many civilizations enjoyed watching violence and felt it was great sport to select the Christians as the Lion's food.

While we're not exactly being fed to any real lions, do you ever feel like we're being treated the same way, like we're the sport for the current-day Romans?

If so, how can we respond so that we continue to represent Christ?

Is it considered hearing voices when you just think to yourself alot?
Sometimes I cant get to sleep because Im afraid of ghosts, and mostly its because I think about dead friends and scary sh*t that I've seen constantly in my head. I also "talk to myself" in my head about funny stuff and things going on in my life. kinda like recapping my day but analyzing everything.

when I try to fall asleep I can't stop from thoughts of dead friends coming in head, Its like I have to fight it and think about something different or acting like im erasing these thoughts off of a chalk board.

How we managed to go an entire year w/out travelling on a plane w/ our now 14 mo. old daughter...no idea. But...we're a week out from our first trip and the packing trade-off begins. We're headed to Portland, Oregon for Thanskgiving. Staying at a Hotel downtown. Figuring we do not need a car as we'll be in walking distance of most things and visiting friends otherwise. Big question...do we take a car seat?? What about from the airport to the hotel via taxi? I've never paid attention...how do Infants/Toddlers travel in taxi's? Aside form the obvious (clothes, lovies, etc)...any other tips on what to take and what to not bother?

Tx-in-advance!

I believe that if I find a man that is a Christian, doesn't have drinking or drug problems, is honest and trustworthy to the core; it will be possible to have a lifelong relationship without having to accept infidelity, drug or alcohol problems nor lying. Am I just setting my standards too high in thinking this is possible? I'd really like to hear from long term married people on this subject.

Find a, b, and k.

It seems that almost every week we here of a bomb or some other means of killing police or potential recruites in Iraq. Why can they not fortify these buildings to the extent an army base is? Also would it not make more sense to hire an absurd number of Iraqi's to police and build their army and help resolve this conflict. I would think that these added police and soldiers would have money to spend from thier wages and help build their own economy, surely this couldn't cost more than the lives of our soldiers!
