I am having great success growing a plumeria tree inside my mid-west home.

Regular pruning to maintain the shape and mini size of the tree. daily misting with water.

I would recommend buying a book, reading all the information you can on it and to approach looking after it in the same way you would a child - a serious commitment that will demand your time and attention on a daily basis.
I have never had one that I have kept alive so can't offer any more practical advise than that.
