Propoganda or truth, fact or fiction?

Are these arguments in the given link fact or fiction? Shows Islam in a very bad light. I dont believe they are true. People well versed with Islam kindly clarify?

Pls, I dont want to offend anyone. Many of my friends are Muslims and none of them are the fanatical types.

I am a Christian however the link that you are citing is both truth & propaganda. Muslims will argue all over the place their woman are treated well but the fact remains that there is still slavery rampant in Muslum countries & that female children are sent off to be wives to old men. Most of your "Christian " countries do not have legal slavery & parents can't force thier girl children to marry. Those are just 2 of the abuses. There are many others.

They are all very differently translated to make the meaning to look bad.

I would to clarify some of the written claims.

That man is in charge of the woman - This actually means man is actually responsible for a woman's welfare, in Islam a husband should be the man responsible to the family especially wife and children.

Most of the claims were faulty translated, In the Quran not just ONE verse is important, the later verses which follows that verse has explanation and disregarded in all the claims made in the website. You need to read the entire Quran to understand Islam not just a few verses....that the reason the Quran was sent, which to read the entire of it!!!!

If a woman's conduct is mischievous or immodest, the husband has the right to beat her not to break her bones ( NOT TRUE AT ALL A HUSBAND CAN'T BEAT HER WIFE BUT TO EXPLAIN TO HER WHAT IS WRONG AND RIGHT )

Wife must not allow anybody to enter the house if her husband does not like him (TRUE - WHY ON EARTH YOU WANT TO ALLOW SOMEONE UR HUSBAND DOESNT LIKE INTO THE HOUSE??? )

Yes ,they are true.
That mentality is the reason muslim societies are so retarded.It is easy and comfortable for men but bad for progress.But then again they don't care.Allah will solve everything.
It is sad ,especially for great races like the Iranians f.ex. who disappeared from history since islam was imposed upon them.

I don't know about Islam, but history is written by those in power, not necessarily the truth as it occurred. I would always look at both sides of the story before making up my mind. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Those who tell the lies have things to hide themselves.
