My oldest daughter has about anything/everything, Ipods, CD's, gaming devices, etc...she loves being outside, very much into fashion, and totally grown out of "dolls", she's into sports, but a girlie girl, if that makes sense...any unique ideas out there?? Oh, i'm not all that interested in Gift Cards, Spa Packages, etc, she has two little sisters, so she'll want "real gifts" to unwrap. Thanks

I have a strange little habit (compulsion) of *having* to switch empty sockets off (even if I'm in a public place, much to the embarassment of my company). So, I'm just wondering if I can justify my oddness by also satisfying the knowledge that I may be helping to save the environment?

Or will I just learn to manage it? I went to a group therapy today for anxiety and learned SOOOO much! But one thing that I'm still not clear on, because even the group facilitator didn't have an answer is if it ever goes away the way flu does or if you just learn to manage it the way you do diabetes? I am on meds but apparently not enough because I still do a lot of the 'what if's'. Will those ever go away completley? I hope so.

My husband is studying for a test. Really he is NOT studying--he's procrastinating but every time he comes near me he wants me to ask him quiz him on information he doesn't even understand. So I sit there for about ten minutes asking questions then get frustrated. Is it wrong of me to not want to help him study? We have two boys (one of which is in school with FAS) and I feel like I'm constantly quizzing someone, making a PB&J, cleaning a diaper, or giving baths. It's not that I don't want to help him but I want him to help himself before he needs me. I don't know how to get the point across that it's not that I don't want to help him but that I have better things that need to get done. Does this make any sense? If you were in the situation what would you do?

We just got back from a week away on vacation, and we left a small amount of fruit on the counter. When we came back, there were fruitflys all over the fruit. My question is - where did they come from? There were no fruitflys in the house when we left, the windows were all closed, and no one has come in the house for a week. Did they just smell the fruit getting old from outside the house, and then travel from a neighbours house? Where they in the fruit the whole time? Do they hide in a corner of the house, waiting, hoping for fruit to get old?

One of the kid's bedrooms is wallpapered. When some rough housing got too rough the paper tore. Instead of telling mom, my child decided to use some white school glue (like Elmer's) on the wall to repair it. Now that I know what happened and removed the wallpaper, the plaster wall underneath has globs of white glue on it that won't chip off.

I've tried heat, doesn't touch it. I've tried scraping, no go.

Would a power sander help? I'd probably have to rent one, but I'm desperate! Help?

I worked for a doctor for a year, I was fired for calling him a lyar (unrelated issue) right after I was fired he had me arrested for grand theft and claimed that I stole $15000 over the course of the year I was there, and had presented a "spreadsheet" that had the amount stolen per month ($1000 plus per month). There was an account checked the books and signed off on them each month balancing out. After spending a total of 3 nights in jail and making a plea of NOT GUILTY, I waited on trial for 2 1/2 years and was found not guilty. during the 2 1/2 years I lost wages because I was unable to go any further in my career as a medical biller because no one would higher someone with pending grand theft charges, I lost patches of my hair diognosed as stress hair loss, and was forced to re-sign my rental lease twice because I couldn't move from the county. not to mention leagal fee's and money for baby sitters during docket calls and trial. Is there any thing I can sue for???
