One of the kid's bedrooms is wallpapered. When some rough housing got too rough the paper tore. Instead of telling mom, my child decided to use some white school glue (like Elmer's) on the wall to repair it. Now that I know what happened and removed the wallpaper, the plaster wall underneath has globs of white glue on it that won't chip off.

I've tried heat, doesn't touch it. I've tried scraping, no go.

Would a power sander help? I'd probably have to rent one, but I'm desperate! Help?

Using warm water with rags might help soften it..you can then try to gently pry it up..smooth with med grade and then fine sandpaper..(by hand if it's not a huge area) wipe clean then seal plaster and then repaper.
