I'm much older than you, so Eddie Murphy does it for me. Ever since I saw him on Saturday Night Live in the 70's.

To say "of all time" is a bit too grand a title to give to anyone currently living, and is also unfair to any comedians who haven't been born yet!

I don't think Will Smith is really interested in being funny as much as being a good actor. Take a look at his new movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" (sic).

He's a good comic actor, but he's never performed solely as a comedian. And he hasn't written any comedy.

I would say Ricky Gervais is probably the funniest person at the moment, and he covers all the bases by writing, acting, directing and producing. The second series of "Extras" had more laugh-out-loud scenes than most any other TV program in the last 30 years.

He may be the happiest, but definitely not the funniest.
Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Jon Stewart are all WAY funnier than Will Smith.
But Will Smith does always have a smile on his face, so he's definitely enjoying life.

This is like asking "Is Ron Jeremy the greatest film actor of all time?"

Not only isn't Will Smith the funniest man of all time, he isn't even in the top 200,000 funniest people of all time.

Will Smith is a great actor and funny at times- however I've seen funnier comedians and actors.

Love him and Jada both!
