With Star Trek celebrating it's 40th anniversary, I would like to know if you think there should be an 11th Star Trek Movie? If so, what would the name of the movie be?

I would like a Star trek movie that would show the origins of Kirk and Spock (obviously they would have to be played by others) at, for example, StarFleet Academy.
I think it would be interesting to see how they met.

There should always be Trek. You can't kill a legend like Star Trek. Even right now, there are no new shows being made, but the special edition original series star trek keeps giving viewers something new to see.. and new games are going to be flooding in... so Trek is no where near dead. As far as the new JJ Abrams movie... the eleventh Trek, should it be made? Of course. I'm kind of scared of the prequel notion again... but it will be great either way. I don't like the idea of replacing actors to fill in Shatner and Nimoy's places... Trek is about the future and moving on.. so they should be more focused on a newer generation.
I have no clue what the new movie should be called, no one really knows what it is going to be about anyway. Though I am sure in a few more months JJ Abrams will tell everyone.
So, all we can do is wait.

So very tired. All the odd-numbered Star Trek movies are crap, with the exception of Search for Spock which wasn't all that good anyway.

There should be another Star Trek movie as long as it's the Next Generation cast - Long live Piccard!

I'd like there to be another one, and I want Spock to do it, because he did the fourth one and that one's fantastic.
I don't know what they'd name it. I only hope it's very interesting.

No I don't think that they should. I mean Scotty has passed away and Dr. McCoy has passed away. No one could ever take their places so no they should let it just go away.

If so, they would have to recast everyone since the originals are either old or dead.
