My son should be starting school in the fall , and I want to home school him. He is very smart, and more functional than even I am, but he has Cushing's syndrome ( causes obesity and hypertension, diabetes ) and I don't want him to be made fun of. He has gone through his whole life with supportive people around him, and I do not want him to experience the pain of being made fun of and teased.. is this a bad reason to homeschool?

This would be like you would be with one on monday, then the other on tuesday and just flip flop it and they let you do anything you wanted when you wanted,,....mine would be Catherine Bell from JAG, the hot Jessica Simpson, and pornstar Jenna Jameson.

Humor me please.

I had a conversation with someone who claimed they were a sadist, but explained the following to me:

He stated, that being a sadist you DO NOT worship the devil. You merely DENY jesus christ, god and religion. Then he said that atheism and sadism are completley different things, but did not tell me the difference. They sound the same to me.

Then he explained that he believes that satan does infact exist. How there can be a devil without a god im not sure. I assume he doens't know crap about anything and just splurges on crap like that to feel independent, when he knows nothing.

So for those of you who know SOMETHING, what the hell is satanism... athiesm... and any other religion or beliefs, or "denied beliefs" along these terms.

Isn't it the ppl's fault, they were warned by the National Weather Center that Katrina is a category 4 storm, why did those people stay anyways? are all americans ignorant, because this is a situation whre Bush is not to be blamed.

Why is it that news networks such as CNN, Fox News and many others get away with spreading the propaganda of the terrorists? Surely the material they show only has the intention of spreading fear and thus should be considered an act of terrorism? What good can come from showing Bin Laden movie clips and publicising the threats that the terrorists make?

im in middle school and im having a hard time making friends because of my accent, sometimes i dont talk at all so people will not notice it. it hurts my feelings when im not looking and they would giggle. its cruel and i dont know what to do, is there anything i can do to lessen my accent?, i don't hear my accent...when i talk but when i recorded it i heard it.
