Look at it on a small level.
What would it be like if there were no property lines and fences in your neighborhood?
Would like it if people could just walk on, or move onto, your property?
In fact, I think I'd like to do that. Since you're opposed to boundries and property lines, I'd like to know where you live. I want to dig up your bushes and chop down your trees. Tresspassing? I don't think so. You're opposed to ownership of real estate, remember?

Borders were designed to protect the people of one country from those in another country. If everyone did good, and no one did bad, it would be a great world. As for Europe, they do not have an open border policy. In fact the riots in the streets by citizens, against illegal aliens destroying their economy takes place regularly. If you want to pay seven to eight dollars for a gallon of gas, and five to six dollars for a gallon of milk, Europe is the place to go, especially if you don't mind not being able to find work, and enjoy terrorist threats, the likes of which America has not seen, Europe is for you. In 1906 Canada put an immigration law on the books that said a person who is poor can not migrate to Canada for any reason. The law is still on the books, as to whether it is enforced, I am not sure, but the law still remains. My studies show the reason this law was put into place was to protect the country from the largest criminal groups in the world, the poor. If each person made sure that their neighbor ate, and was clothed, then a world without borders would be a great place, but few live that way. Most people, even religious people take care of themselves before anyone else, and believe if they make a donation to some orginization they have done their part, while blocks from them American children will go to school hungry.
Personally, I would love to see my family in Mexico, and in Europe, but it is not likely to happen, even if there were no border. The cost to travel between nations is too expensive.

Yeah well, email china on that one, I'm sure they'll be happy to send you a free signed copy of The History Of The Great Wall.
It'd sure be nice if we didn't have to have borders, and laws, and cops etc., unfortunately, we do.

Total caos. We need structure and for most countries boarders bring just that. In some countries if you are caught crossing a border illegaly you would be shot dead!

That is easy.
Mass poverty with a thin upper crust, and no universal education.
Frequent wars as coup after coup attacks those in power for their own 'turn'.
Human history is not utopia because it reflects human nature. Utopia ignores that.
Angela R. Look at what is happening in Europe NOW as a result.

That may be a reality sooner than you think....
What would all the bigots do????
Look at Europe, 15 years ago, they never imagined it would have an open border policy, but they do....Govt.'s decide those things, not people....
