Besides not being able to go to work?

Having it come out both ends.
Either hanging in the toilet bowl , and crapping on yourself after 1 to many pushes through the mouth, or smelling what you just did in the toilet, and throwing up all over. Or your stomach is in knots and all you do is lay in bed and whine. You try to eat a piece of toast, only for that to come up also.Or having such a bad cold, where you cant breathe out of your nose, your eyes are all watery, and nothing taste good when you eat it.

The worst part of being sick is when i have the stomach flu and starving, but the second I eat so much as a cracker it comes right back up like 2 minutes later. Then my muscles start to twitch because i need nutrition but when i have the stomach flu i can not eat anything! Also, when i get back to school the next day it seems like i've missed so much and none of my teachers are helpful when im absent. They usually fail to tell me there was a pop quiz yesterday worth 50 points, and when i see my grade a month later with a 0 on it, it's too late to make it up.

I hate being sick!

Hmmmm.....i thought not being able to go to work was the *best* thing about being sick.....?????

(This coming from the guy who worked 2+ weeks last summer being both sick and unable to talk.....which is a lot of fun when your job involves talking to the public in a sometimes-very-noisy environment.....)

If it's a flu or bad cold or food poisoning...you know...temporary...
Other than the vomiting, diarrhea, etc., I can't think of anything else bad about it!
With today's advanced drugs for symptoms, it's a day off from the grind - a chance for your immune system to get a work-out - an opportunity to catch up on a good book - the rare chance to be regally pampered - stomach shrinkage - ...I think we ALL need to get sick sometimes!

Everything about being sick is the worst - the aches and pain, the headaches, nausea, watery eyes, diarrhoea, vomiting, no appetite, everything. Makes me feel helpess when I can't even make it to the kitchen to get a glass of water for myself especially when I'm accustomed to constant daily routine activities.

depends on the symptoms.. i've been stuck inside with summer pnuemonia for over 2 weeks now.. and i'd have to say seeing the same white walls everyday..

oh and then the afte.r. when you feel you CAN do something.. but you've yet to regain your energy so you're so weak after like 5 minutes..

getting a really bad fever and seeing weird things. or waking up in the middle of the night needing to throw up and you throw up on yourself. everything to do with being sick.
