Honestly, I think the reason is because of sexual predators, which is truly sad. So many people nowadays crusing the web for all sorts of nasty/bad things & hurding a bunch of teens together in a chat room would be their feeding ground.
I wish there was a way to still have something where teens/young adults could chat without the worry of the wackos and the sickos...guess I am only dreaming right?

Bama Guri ! There are to many predators out there and teens have enough to deal with.You look beautiful in your gown.Maybe parents need to be more involved in there off springs life.I may be ragging on you , but yrs. ago it was a better world.
