I've been dating a great guy for a month. We've already determined we are boyfriend/girlfriend. (he asked me to be his girlfriend) He lives about 30-35 mins away. I don't get to see him all too much cuz we both work and have our own lives, but we've been talking pretty much every day, sometimes 2-3 times a day. Is it too early to ask him what he's doing on the days I don't hear from him? He is the one that pretty much calls me daily. I can't help but wonder what he's doing when I don't hear from him. I don't want to give him the impression that I am being possessive or anything but I do have some trust issues from my past. I've been screwed over many times. He hasn't given me any reason to doubt him. I want to go with the flow and don't want to come across as jumping the gun. But on the other hand I don't want to be a girlfriend of convience either. We don't really make plans to see each other often but make plans for the future to do things. Any thoughts on this???

Recently, an acquaintance who is interested in converting to Islam contacted me and asked how she should go about it. I know that it is not necessary to have a Muslim witness, and that one must simply make a declaration of their faith, and that Allah need be the only witness, but she would like to take instruction in Islam before she makes her final decision. Can she just go to the local mosque? Must she speak to an Imam, or can she receive counsel from anyone there? Also, should she call and make an appointment, or can she just show up unannounced? Please let me know, as she is a bit timid and would really like my help on this, but I don't know how to advise her, as while I am half Arab, I am a Christian.
