The big pollutant with regards to the ozone are CFC's (cloroflorocarbons). These enter the ozone layer and react with it, creating O2 instead of O3, which is not helpful in that part of the atmosphere.
Yes, if we continue to allow those to enter the upper atmosphere, it will go away. Ozone is produced in industrial pollution, but it is actually poisonus to us and does not help at this altitude.
CFC's are baned by most of the world. In fact, the CFC ban has allowed the ozone to stop degrading and even to slightly regrow, so we are on the right track.

i read once that pollutants don't immediately affect the ozone layer. the pollutants affecting the ozone layer today are a result of the industrial boom of the early-mid twentieth century. various world goverments have put environmental laws into effect since the 1970's in order to slow the amount of man-made chemicals polluting/pouring into our atmosphere (e.g. cleaner oil refining and manufacturing techniques).
i also read that the ozone layer can replenish itself natually, but it takes years to do and could be a "too little, too late" scenario.
I don't think science knows the limit when the ozone layer will reach the crucial, 'point of no return' measurement, and that is why science is asking people around the world to limit all man-made pollutants as much as possible.. even if we as a world population stopped producing all man-made pollutants this very day, it would take years for all of the current pollutants to rise into the upper atmosphere, further damaging the ozone layer and result in many years, perhaps even centuries, of the earth reeling from effects of ozone depletion (global warming [hotter temperatures, increased sea levels, more violent weather activity], stronger solar radiation, etc...).

Look out the window.
You will see blue skys and that Uncle Charlies cigarette, and your hair spray does almost nothing towards pollution. Even Mom`s car does little and in America we are trying to make that even better.
Now If you want to really scare yourself look up "Asian Brown Cloud". This is real pollution and totally forgiven under Kyoto. However under Kyoto you are expected as an American to live in a thatched hut and give up your airconditioning to save the world.

No. It won't be completely destroyed due to the fact that the pollution actually CREATES ozone, as well as destroying it.

Once the hole is big enough we will all die. I dont think we will survive t'll the ozone layer gets destroyed. The conditions will be bad before it is completely destroyed.
