I just wanted to find out from people who have been camping at theses places to give some insight as to what is good & bad about both places. Ive heard..that leo carrillo...isnt close to the beach? is that true?
And ive already done my research on parks.gov... and everything I just wanted to hear from people who have been. Thanks very much.

I am flying in and trying to decide if I should rent a car, use a shuttle service or if taking a taxi would be better. I would like to go the least expensive way. I know that either the shuttle or the taxi would be easier because I wouldnt be driving, but if renting a car would be less expensive I could go that way also ( I am pretty good with directions ) If someone has done this before or has any good ideas that would be great. Thank you.

Thinking about moving to Silver Spring, but too many to choose from. Can anybody recommend me some areas/apartments? I am looking for a place that is not so isolated, I can live by the street, having shops (like starbucks) right around the corner. thank you!!

My husband may be getting a job their soon...frankly, though, california is one of the last places I ever wanted to live. From what I know, it is polluted, crowded, expensive and full of botox barbies...not what I had in mind. Can someone who lives there tell me about any more family friendly areas? Are they supportive of breastfeeding? Homebirthing, midwives, delayed vaccinations? Are many places pet friendly? What is there to go do with a toddler without worrying about the area? I know I may seem overly paranoid but I have heard very little I like about the place outside of surfing...and even then I have to worry about my little boy seeing a bunch of people with not enough on...
Please someone, have some good news to help me ease my mind!

the husband and I want to move to Alaska, when the kids are grown, to get away from the lower 48, and to start over, so to speak. We have always wanted to live there, but I don't like the cold, so much, but want to be away from those who may try to do us harm. basically we just want to start over, no kids, no troubles, no BS. What do we need? How to prepare? what to take with us? What not to take? ( obviously, no swimsuits or suntan oil!!) We want to go because we would love to see wildlife, ( I love wolves!) and we want to get away from it all. Any suggestions?? ok, i was watching the news this morning and to get more info on the school shooting in cleveland ohio. well would you guess what they said? they said that the 14 year old boy gave out "sighs to he was about o do something bad" the "sighs" they were talking about said that he wore black nail paint, a dog collar, mostly all black clothes, and had his hair in his face all the time. I wear black nail paint, dogs collar, black clothes, and always have my hair in face. so does that mean if theres a school shooting in my area, i'm a suspect? no. the reason he started a school shooting was because no one acceoted him for who he was. he was labeled gothic and emo. no one liked him, and he didn't have many friends, justr because he dressed diferant! what kind of world are we living in? is this the kind of world we are going to leave our future children and grand children in? it's just WRONG!
