Carp is steps from the beach. The dolphins swim along the beach. Walk to food and shops. And there is of course Surf Dogs. Highway 101 at Bailard Ave. Carpinteria. on the bluff.

Leo Carrillo is a better set up and less jamed. But the beach is better at Carpinteria.

I've been to Leo Carrillo, the beach isn't so great, but it's a very nice site.

I have been to Carrillo and it is across the highway from the beach, so it is close, but not directly on the beach.
