Depends -
North LT has great snow! So if you want to go to the lifts or anything then thats where I'd go.
But for anything and everything else - South LT is the best place on earth. There are great restaurants, casinos, clubs and so much things to do. It is more crowded because its the more popular side of the lake.

mSouth if you are flying in or driving. North can get boring unless you are going up to ski or snowboard.South shore has more accomodations, to chose from in all price ranges. If we don't get a decent snowfall the skiing will be misrable.
