ok, i was watching the news this morning and to get more info on the school shooting in cleveland ohio. well would you guess what they said? they said that the 14 year old boy gave out "sighs to he was about o do something bad" the "sighs" they were talking about said that he wore black nail paint, a dog collar, mostly all black clothes, and had his hair in his face all the time. I wear black nail paint, dogs collar, black clothes, and always have my hair in face. so does that mean if theres a school shooting in my area, i'm a suspect? no. the reason he started a school shooting was because no one acceoted him for who he was. he was labeled gothic and emo. no one liked him, and he didn't have many friends, justr because he dressed diferant! what kind of world are we living in? is this the kind of world we are going to leave our future children and grand children in? it's just WRONG!

same here i heard about it this mourning and i was like i got to know more about this dude who was the shooter for this school shooting and i did and i cant believe they are mentioning marilyn manson wtf again gosh they are retarded blame the first thing that moves and say there it is a sheep goat lets blame that so we can get on with it

this boy had problems and that is why he held a shooting he gave many signs of it no one listened and that is the problem no one ever listened as to many poeple not doing something about a problem is like contributing to the problem also like in plato's description of the rings of hell god put those angels who didn't take sides outside of hell just so they know where they stand because they didn't stand up for anything

What in the world are the kids thinking??? More like- what in the world is America thinking. Your country and people in power will NEVER learn, that until you get rid of all guns completely and have them only available to the military and army etc, that these massacres will continue to happen every other week. It does NOT happen this way anywhere else civilised in the world. Your countries credo about 'right to bear arms' is a load of crap that gets you all into this trouble in the first place. If your government banned guns competely this would hardly ever happen. Isn't all these innocent peoples lives worth it?? I'm sure their loved ones think it is. Wake up America. The only arms you need to bear are the ones god gave you, then you'd do a lot less dmage to eachother.

You cant expect for someone to go up and talk to someone who could possibly be a freak (Not in his clothes, but his personality. Morbid probably) Thats not how the world works. And you cant expect teenagers to accept him because of what he wears. Teenagers are teenagers, they will always be the same. So theres someone who is gothic and someone else who is preppy. Who would you rather be friends with? Someone who looks depressed all the time? Or someone who would like to have fun and actually do things. Its the kids fault for not realizing how teenagers would react towards him.

I live in Cleveland and you are missing a lot of information. What I read said he had threatened harm on several occasions, that he was going to get people and that several students were going to meet with the principal but that the principal said her schedule was too busy. They are conducting an investigation into that - her response or lack thereof. He also had a history of mental health problems, a history of domestic violence and a record in Juvenile Court. Hardly the portrait you are providing in your "question." It had nothing to do with goth or manner of dress. The school itself is an alternative school to begin with, many of the juveniles had or currently have a variety of problems. The shooter had just gotten punched in the mouth the day of the shooting. The person who punched him was shot in the side. Please research more thoroughly before you make such narrow judgements.

Well I hate to tell you this, I went through this crap with my daughter, the goth thing. She because so mental because of the same boo hoo story of no one excepting her except the few others who dressed like her. Now her oldest son is doing the same thing. He also is depressed and lonely and picked on. He has also tried to kill himself this past year by setting himself on fire. Get a clue. The lifestyle is not healthy and seems like most of the individuals end up depressed and cutting themselves. Unless you want to be an outcast, do not dress like something from a horror show. Whether you like it or not, the majority of society views it morose and wants nothing to do with the people involved in the cult, and it is a cult.

First, may that kid now rest in peace.
If you're not hurting anyone, it doesn't matter what you look like.
If you dress Goth, you know you have some looks and maybe comments coming from the general populace.
I'm a white guy who decided to dread-up. I can't worry when someone treats me like a freak, coz I chose to look like a freak.
I'm sure you're a good kid---you just gotta roll with the punches.

I know a teacher of whom he was a former student. He said that young man was a genius and used the 'goth' look to fit in. He really didn't fit in anywhere, he was too smart. I doubt he shot himself, the police probably shot him.

i agree with you on one part, it is wrong that people don't accept others. But, he shouldn't have taken it that far, he was an idiot, and according to CNN and ABC, the last time he was suspended, this past monday, he shouted to them, "i've got something for y'all x2" But he always threatened people. threatening doesn't help people like you. He should've just ignored it and tried to find some friends or talk to a counselor/teacher. He and the others could've prevented this, but they were all stupid.
