hummmm, It absolutely does snow in Hollywood about every 10 or 15 years. It hits the grounds and melts in about 2 seconds....So the guy with the "Snowshovels R' Us" franchise has to work a side job...
EDIT:-between 1922 and 1962 there were 10 winters that had snow (sometimes twice or three times). Stangely there has been no snow since 1962....HMMMMM...Average between 1922 and 2007 is about every 8.5 years....but none lately....most of the above are what they call "traces" of snow..

snow in the LA basin is very rare, and if it does it is only a light snow and it melts quicker than it came down. But the mountains around LA do get snow in the winter!

I have lived in Hollywood since 1946. It snowed once in all that time in 1956.

RARELY does it snow.............in fact, I must tell you that we had flurries and ice, but it was rare and a strange happening. But, it has happened! I saw it!
