My husband and I are moving from Chicago to Baltimore in the next few months. I plan to live in a suburb in between Baltimore city and Washington DC. I have a 4 year old and need to be near a good school system, and safe(r) area as well. Any advice would be appreciated.
Serious answers please. I don't have the option to move anywhere else.

For example: The city of Powder Springs, GA. I believe that it is nestled in Cobb County, GA.

Is there a database or webpage that will furnish county names, if you were to input the city name and state?

Thanks, doods.

Yeah! I have never been to California but need to go so bad. I'll fly into Oakland about 1:30p on a Saturday. I'm young, fit, and don't mind camping a lot to cut down on expenses. I just need to know the best places to see and sleep in Yosemite and wine country. Best sights and campgrounds in Yosemite, best vineyards and cheapest accomodations in Napa and Sonoma, and anything worth doing in San Fran and Oakland. Can I avoid renting a car for this little circuit? I'm thinking two nights of "luxury" in hotels (but lets keep the rates "budget") out of seven would be about right. Where's the can't-miss food at here, too?

ok hello i have been to New York this April for 4 days and loved it however i am thinking of going back there again in November but not sure if i should go there or Chicago. .Please help me to decide. And if i go to New York it is going to cost me about $400 more for hotel and plane tickets but i don't mind :) So i really need some good suggestions. P.S. if you have any other destinations please let me know I love big cities. so keep in mind doesn't have to be NYC or Chicago. However would appreciate if you can tell me which one.
