Wow: Great trip. Lots of things to see on your way but to many to list. Remember you are going to be in the middle of winter so take precautions. If I may suggest... Triple A is a great service. That's the Auto Club. Joining is really inexpensive and the benefits are tremendous. Free trip planning and maps. (they know every attraction that is there and can tell you costs etc.) peace of mind in case of accidents or break downs, advice on what to take, Hotel and restaurant info and discounts at just about anywhere you want to stop. all this and you never have to go to the DMV again. Great insurance and international travel info and booking as well. I don't work for these guys but I swear by them. The best money you can spend. Period..... They will give you all the info that you want or need and take the time to do it right for you. give it a shot. its really worth it.
