So a friend of mine is coming to NYC from Belgium tomorrow. Where are some places I can take him to?
What are some things I should take him to see?

Since I live in NYC, everything seems the same to me (no excitement at all lol) but, I'm guessing my friend is going to want to see the best of NYC. So, any suggestions? Thank you.

We were diverted off of I-5 at SR-18. Took Enchanted Parkway over I-5 and State Patrol had all of South Bound shut down at the truck scales, I-5 was empty. What the heck happened?

my husband and i are considering a move to georgia. I was wondering where i could find some info on where the state ranks as far as saftey. Also which areas and cities are the most family friendly ( best schools, parks,etc). We love living in small towns, but don't want to be so far in the sticks that we have 2 drive an hour to see a movie. Any other info you can think of would be welcomed too.

I will be moving to the Denver area by May 08. I was wondering which areas are the best for kids (schools, activities, etc). Another factor with our move is that I am a nurse and dont want to commute too far. (But my knowledge on the health systems there are again limited).
