Soho has more artistic shops. Either modern looking clothes, furniture, or art galleries, Soho is upscale. If you want affordable prices go to 14th Street.

It depends what is "affordable" for you. Stores like American Eagle Outfitters, Necessary Clothing, H&M, Old Navy, etc. Just walk around and if you find something you like, go in there. There are a bunch of shops that have affordable clothing. Have fun!
