I stayed at a hotel / inexpensive resort in Palm Springs a couple years ago. Each 'room' was like an apartment. The one we stayed in had a loft and its own back yard with grill, private swimming pool and jacuzzi. It's off the main strip on a nice chunk of land. Although it had a spa, public pool, tennis courts and (I think) golf course, it was not really a resort because it was reasonably priced and seemed slightly run-down. I want to stay there again but can't remember the name. Just hopeing that this sounds familiar to someone else who has a better memory.

We just booked our annual Disney vacation for February 11-17. I thought that it was a less crowded time to visit. Now I'm not so sure.
Has anyone been during this time? Can you tell me what to expect?

I have lived in Oklahoma City all my life and am terrified about the prospect of living in Washington, I have always been under the impression its cold and rainy compared to OKC. Please can anyone offer any advice on relocating to a military community and/or any comments on that area??

I have a friend who lives in West Englewood in Chicago and I plan to visit for a few weeks. I've heard some not so nice things about the area. Please tell me your personal accounts; I've done a bit of research already, but I need personal opinions.

My wife and I are planning a trip to Cape Cod, but don't know which town to go to. There are several towns in Cape Cod and not sure which one would be the best. Basically we are looking for an area that is close to the beach and has a nice town for shopping and dining. Does anyone have any information or know where I can find detailed information about each town. Thank you.

Miami has the humid heat, while Las Vegas has almost no humidity, but the temps in Vegas are a good 15-20 degrees higher.

Hi,

I'm moving to DC and am considering living in the Logan Circle or Columbia Heights area. I want to rent. Does anyone know a good real estate agency that rents apartments in these areas?

Thanks!

Me & my husband might go away the week before Christmas next year. I want to go somewhere with snow that will really get us into the holiday spirit. We live in Texas so sometimes it's hard for it to really feel like Christmas in 80 degree weather. =(

I am 20 years old and my husband is 21. We both received our Bachelor's Degree recently. There is an indoor waterpark in our area that we would like to take a vacation to. However, the hotel's policy says, "You must be at least 21 years of age to reserve or check into a room, and all guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian." Do you think they will give us any trouble? Will they ask my age? Could I consider my husband my legal guardian?
