Overland Park covers a large area. All socioeconomic groups live there. In general, it's considered to be a pretty nice area, but if you really want to live in a really high-end area you would be better off in a neighboring city like Fairway or Leawood. Kansas City, MO, just south of the Plaza has some of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the KC area.

Overland Park can be considered as both middle and upper class. There are some good restaurants and some stores around, but no real attractions.

It is middle to upper class.
Whoever said we have no seasons is wrong. We have all the seasons, but when it gets hot it does get really really hot, and when it gets cold, we can have an ice storm. Not much snow here at all, maybe once per winter. As a matter of fact, it's been in the 50's all week in January for instance.
There is tons of shopping and every resturant you can imagine. The schools are excellent. It is also home to Sprint's World Headquarters.

Oh, you'll probably buy a lottery ticket, hit the jack pot and be set for life. A lot of millionaires who created the great companies of the world weren't the pick of the litter but kept at it until they made it. I remember on NPR they were talking about graduation ceremony speeches and never was sure if they were serious or joking, but they had a quote from a supposed college speech: "To all you students who made grade 'A's, GOOD JOB! To all those students who made 'C's and 'D's, you too can become president one day!"

I used to live there. Just vacationed there. Go bowling at incredi-bowl if you feel like it. go swimming at the JCC. Eat at Gates or Jack Stack. If you're feeling artsy go to mad about mosaics. If you've been there, don't go to Syla's and Maddy's they closed. A lots changed since I've lived there, though.
