I had this same problem as I got married when I was 19! If you're husband is over 21, just have him check in. I don't think that they'll be concerned with your age if he informs them he'll be staying there with his wife. Isn't it funny that you can be a responsible, married adult and still not drink or check into certain hotels!? I always thought so.

FYI: For all thoe who say they were never asked their age when checking in, the hotel checks government issued ID which shows the age. Most if not all states, also have some clear visible notice on the id if the person is under 21.

Search the web site for the hotel you are interested in. When researching the answer for a similar question, I visited multiple Toronto hotel web sites and discovered three different minimum check-in ages of 18, or 19 or 21. It depends on the hotel.

Typically only one adult per room must be over 21. Most rooms can have 2 adults and maybe 2 additional kids.

Have your husband book the room and you'll be fine as long as he is 21. Or have a parent do it, they don't check I.D.'s at hotels.

Basically, when you get married you are considered emancipated. So your parents have no control over you which means you are no longer their dependent. (They can't claim you tax wise.) So the hotel doesn't need your legal guardian.

yes, your husband is your legal guadian now, i work at a bar and spouses are allowed to buy drinks for their spouses(by the way, if you needed to know that)...so we know that the police informed us that he will now be your guardian in all matters. also, i've never check into a hotel and been asked my age...isn't that weird?

reserve the room as Mr. & Mrs. ______ and then have your ID's reflect the same last name. This should avoid any further trouble.
