loveliest places to visit for the Christmas season?

Me & my husband might go away the week before Christmas next year. I want to go somewhere with snow that will really get us into the holiday spirit. We live in Texas so sometimes it's hard for it to really feel like Christmas in 80 degree weather. =(

Visit Germany.
The Christmas markets in Dresden, Nurnberg and many other cities have a special feel to them. The air is crisp and somewhere in the country, there'll be snow.
