Miami has the humid heat, while Las Vegas has almost no humidity, but the temps in Vegas are a good 15-20 degrees higher.

I'd say Vegas, mainly because Florida's miserable in the summer because the humidity mixed with the heat makes it seem so much worse. Vegas does have higher temperatures but it is in a desert and the air is dry.

Miami. You have an ocean breeze, frequent rain showers which cool things off , and the ocean nearby. Yes it true that Miami heat is more unpleasant due to the humidity, but it almost never gets above 92 in the summer and evening cool off into the 70s. I would pick Miami Weather over vegas in the dead of the summer.

I find the summers in Vegas easier to tolerate. Humidity can make it hard to breathe. Vegas' dry heat is like opening the oven. Yeah, it might be 120 degrees in the shade, but the air doesn't way a ton.

I'll take Vegas heat over Miami humidity any day!!!!

I went to Miami once in August and it was completely miserable. Miami is beautiful but it is so humid and muggy that your hair gets all damp and soppy.

The dry heat is easier to tolerate - The humidity is miserable, you open the door in summer and it feels like someone threw a hot, wet blanket on you!

I used to live in Reno, NV and could deal with the dry heat MUCH better than the horrible humidity we have here in VA.
