If you like coasters, it is one of the best. soooo many to choose from. don't ride myself anymore(get sick headaches) but many places are hard pressed to compare for the size of the place. would like a comparision from someone who has been there and other well-known parks.

I am planning a trip to Philly and NYC during Thanksgiving holidays. There are things I need help on.
1.When I make hotel reservation in NYC, which part of the city is not safe and I should avoid? I have gone for vacation alone many times in my life. Hopefully, I will go to NYC by myself this time. Is it safe to roam around the city at night? (Of course, I don’t mean 3 o’clock in the morning.) Some of my coworkers go to NYC on a regular basis for business. They have told me a lot of scary stories such as homeless people stay in the public bathroom to keep warm and junkies getting high in the public restroom.

2. I plan to spend a day at Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. Is this enough?

3.I will take a bus from NYC to Philly. My hotel will be in Independence Park area. I know the bus station is pretty close to Independence Hall, but is it safe for me to walk from the bus station to the hotel? Remember I will have a bag of luggage. Everyone know I am a tourist.

Thanks

Help me out with this? I'm taking a road trip in a year or so and wanted to pick out where to go plenty ahead of time to estimate how much it'll cost and what's on the way there. I'm compiling a list of the Top Ten things across the US someone should see and I'm going to pick from it with my friends that are going with me. So far I have Niagra Falls, the Grand Canyon, New York City, Hersheys (Pennsylvania-just because it'd be crazy awesome) and Disneyland. Never been to any of those places before...not interested in going to LA or Chicago....pick the top five places in the US (Alaska & Hawaii included) you'd say I should put on my list and the best answer gets ten points. Thanks to all that give sincere answers. :)

I am traveling with three companions to NYC to see the Conan O'brien Show. We would like to go to the Modern Museum of Art before the show. We have to pick up our tickets at the 30 Rock. Mezz. Before the show begins at 4pm. We would be leaving Philadelphia around 10am. I heard that you can get greyhound tickets for $28.00 on line. But it came up 40? I don't want to take the Chinatown bus because it leaves you too far away. What is the deal with Princeton NJ? Is that the way to go? And how do I do that?

CHICAGO'S PEOPLE

The people of Chicago - hard-working, proud and representative of America's heritage. Chicago is the heartland of America and it's not so much because of geography but because of its people.

Chicago's diverse in ethnicity, culture, ideals and profession.

Chicago has background and it is its people's background that bring to the forefront a portrait of harmony and togetherness.

Chicago's is not white, is not black, is not brown nor gray - it is a colorful city - and its strength lies in the vibrancy of this spectrum.

Chicago is great not because it was built on the waves of Lake Michigan but built by the waves of immigrants - people of various religion, ethnicity and culture - who, had combined their ambitions and ideals and made Chicago home.

We have recently moved to Los Angeles and we are currently renting a home in Arcadia,as it is way expensive to buy a home here in LA,we r plannign to buy a condo,Recently we vsited new condos in downtown burbank area which are costing around $650K,Is the right place and right time to buy,are is it good if i wait for some more time as ppl r saying that the real estate market may come down.
We liked th condo, but we dont know the average prices in this city,is it normal here,r do u think its too high, bcoz in all the places we lived earlier for less than $400K we get nice homes

Thank you.

We have became recent owners to the Sunterra Resorts and the guy who sold us the package claimed April 15 was the best week to go to Disney. No lines and great weather compared to Ohio. What all do you guys think? When is the best time to take a 4 yr old to Disney?
