What is a nice/scenic place to visit in CA in late November?

I live in L.A., and I am not going home for thanksgiving. I am just looking for a nice place to visit for a few days.

If you like the outdoors, Yosemite Valley is gorgeous in the fall. The summer tourists are usually gone by now, and you can enjoy the sites without the mobs of crowds.

Travel south...San Diego. I love it there. Really great night life and beaches and the zoo!
