Kentucky does NOT suck!!!! I am from Western Kentucky. Go to any search engine and type in Kentucky/cost of living. You could also try typing in "Kentucky newspapers" and look at some of them. The largest cities are Louisville, Lexington, Richmond. There is also a Kentucky government website but I dont know if that would help you much. Its www.ky.gov. Good luck.
This is to the rude person that said Kentucky sucks, how do you have you ever lived here???

I live in Kentucky. The northeastern part. There's not a lot of jobs in this part. Construction is big in Lexington. The pay is okay there, but rent starts around $600.00 a month. The rent where I am is not as high, but the jobs and their payrate is not good either. I'm about 2 hours east of Lexington. The schools here where I am are small. There are only 250 kids in my children's school. But remember we are in a small town. The cost of groceries and things like that seem to be lower here than they are other places.
Just google Kentucky citites. That will show you some things about it. I really like living here. It's a nice place.

Hi there! I live in south eastern Kentucky. I love living here but I'm not exactly sure about job opportunities besides the ones offered to teenagers (seeing as I'm 17). Its not really that expensive to live here though. My mother is a single parent and we get by very well on $1200 monthly.....we have a nice car, 3 bedroom house, a computer w/ Internet (obviously), cell phone and all the other amenities. Schools vary of course. The school I go to is number one in the district and I think 3 in the state. A few of our students have went off to ivy league schools.
I can answer allot of questions about culture, but not many technical ones. If you want to e-mail me feel free to. Good luck.
