I live in Boston and I am thinking of moving to NYC. Is it worth it?
Here is what I am looking for:
-Fun Lifestyle
-Something that is either cheap to live in (around $1000 for a 1 bedroom)
-If not able to be in the trendiest part of town some place that can commute easily to Financial District & somewhere near NYU.
-Average Rent in NYC.
-Some place where I won't get shot walking to the local store.
-Brooklyn - part of NYC? too far to live?

If you moved from Boston to NYC and have some good advice (extra points.)

Our next vacation to Walt Disney World is in July for 10 days and 11 nights. We're on the Platinum Plan and all recreation and tours are included in the package. I know there's all kinds of recreation and stuff to do at Walt Disney World besides just going to the theme parks. There's golf, mini golf, boat rentals, bike rentals, horseback riding, carriage/wagon rides, etc. What else do you like to do during your vacation? What's been fun, what would you recommend or not recommend? Have you done any of the different tours at the theme parks? Any shops you love to go to while at the parks or resorts? Any restaurants or kiosks you always go to, maybe for a specific item?

I want any suggestions of things to do and things to try within Walt Disney World, not off property.

It's from the western part of SC to the northeastern part of NC, over the week(s) of Thanksgiving. Back anywhere from 3 to 10 days later. One adult, two small children, one infant.

I don't have a vehicle that will make the trip. I am open to rental car, plane, bus, whatever. I am just looking for a list of what is cheapest, quickest, and overall best.

I went Behind the Scenes in Animal Kingdom and it was awesome. I wanted to do another and I was just wondering if there was any feedback about the other tours. I am particularly interested in the one that is 7 hours long and costs $199. Not sure of the name. Any and all feedback is appreciated. :)
