This August my boyfriend and did the Seas Aqua Tour at EPCOT. It was really awesome! We got to go out back behind the Living Seas Pavilion and see where the new "Finding Nemo" ride was being built. Our guide took us through the behind-the-scenes area of the Living Seas Pavilion and the aquarium. We got to see the manatees in the pool not visible to regular guests. It was really cool. We were able to get a much better look since it was quiet and uncrowded. We watched a short film about the animals we were going to see and safety in the water, then we were given our wetsuits and locker keys. I was the only female besides a set of twins who were only about 10. Besides my boyfriend there was two young boys and three fathers. It wasn't a large crowd, it was nice. We were sent to the restrooms/locker rooms to change. It was funny, everyone put the wetsuit on backwards except for me. They couldn't figure out how to get themselves zipped up... well, the zipper's supposed to be in the front, not the back! I had to help the girls get unzipped so they could turn their suits around. Anyway, once we were all ready we were brought to the top of the aquarium. We had to climb a narrow spiral staircase to get there. The water was pretty warm. We got in the water, then we put on the tanks. Each person gets a picture, so pictures were taken before we put the masks on. We had a picture of the two of us together, we each got one at the end of the tour. Finally, we got right in the water and got to do what we wanted. You're pretty much just snorkeling at the surface of the water, but you're in full scuba gear, and the animals and fish still come really close. It was absolutely incredible! Below, all you can see are sharks and HUGE fish swimming around. Stingrays, too. It's kind of eerie. These giant, scary creatures just swimming below you, but they don't come near you. But there's a lot of smaller pretty fish that come really close to you. The stingrays come very close, too. One swam right under me. And then there's the giant sea turtle. It's definitely not afraid of people. It swam right up to us and stayed around for a while. I actually touched it. Another thing that's really cool is that you can see all the people on the other side of the glass. Children get so exctied when they see you swimming in the water and they wave. It's great to wave back, it makes them so happy. You see them tugging on their parent, pointing back. We were in the water for at least a half an hour. It was really amazing. We're definitely doing it again when we go back to Walt Disney World in July. We might do the Dolphins in Depth Tour, too. I want to see the dolphins up close. At the end we each got a t-shirt, our photos, and certficates that explained how our money had gone to the Disney Wildlife Conservation. The tour lasted around two and a half to three hours, and I think it cost $100.00 I definitely recommend it!
I don't know about the Backstage Magic Tour, though. That's the seven hour one, I think.

Glad to hear you had fun on the Backstage tour at the Animal Kingdom Park. Maybe we'll try it on our next vacation.

Yes! I have performed this excursion and it was once distinctive. I have additionally endorsed it to a few purchasers who adored it as good. You get a fairly thorough appear at the back of the scenes at Magic Kingdom (adding the utilidors), Hollywood Studios and Epcot. You don't pass to Animal Kingdom that's a bit of of a sadness however the excursion remains to be robust. You additionally talk over with costuming, the florist and so a lot more! My favourite aspect of the excursion was once fairly seeing Disney World in a complete new approach. You see such a lot that almost all visitors under no circumstances see. You fairly be trained how the Magic is made. I LOVED going within the American Adventure at Epcot and seeing how that complete approach works. The excursion IS highly-priced but when you're fascinated about what makes Disney World tick, then you're going to like it!

This past September I did the Segway Tour at Epcot. (A Segway is a 2-wheeled vehicle that you stand on. You may have seen some cast members on them)
It lasts about 2 hours. The first hour you spend indoors getting training and practicing how to maneuver your segway. The next part of the tour they take you out to the World Showcase and you go through the pavillions and your group will stop and the guide will give you info about that particular country. Each group is limited to about 16 people.
The best thing is that you get to go through the World Showcase before it is open, so there is no crowd to watch out for!! And you can get some great photographs that don't include a bunch of strangers walking around in the background!
It costs $80 per person. Well worth it!
