Travel (General) - July 2007

i'm not really too keen on Europe so anywhere else would be good, but thats not too expensive, we're looking to go off peak season. We've been to New York and Orlando, so i'm trying to keep away from the states. Any help/ideas would be much appreciated.

My boyfriend and I are looking for somewhere hot to go in Sept. and need inspiration! We are looking for:

> Lots of pubs and restaurants - maybe some clubs
> Things to do in the day - sightseeing / organised trips, etc!

After reading on the internet that all children need a passport to travel on a cruise, am unsure of how much one costs and the approximate time to receive a passport for a 3 year old. thanks.

im going to europe for 30 days to go see my relitives, for 10 of those days i will be on vacation at the beach. And i am very scared of forgetting something, and i can't pack evrything, it needs to stay under 20 kilograms, so i don't know how im going to manage..

I plan to do RV-ing in California for as much as a couple of months. I want to stay mainly along the coastal areas, not much inland.

Since I've never done this before, I need tips on rentals, places to stay that are safe, clean and relatively inexpensive. Also, suggestions on areas that are scenic and quiet with things to see and do.

I am not into going into the "wilderness" and roughing it, I have a mild princess syndrome so that is out of the question!

Is it true in 2008 everyone that visits outside the US will now need a passport, even children under the age of 15?
When we went on our cruise two years ago, all we needed was a birth certificate.
My inlaws want to take us on a cruise somewhere, I think Mexico, but not sure where, in April 2008, and said we would need a passport.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciate.

I am flying New Delhi via Air India from Bangkok, i checked my luggages weight. its over 30 kg. around 35/36.

Normally i think they don't allow you to carry more than 30 kg or in case if they allow . Do they charge for extra 3 or 4 kg and if so how much they do?

Im flying out of the UK and in the US i know there are no liquids unless under 100 ml... i need to bring some liquid sleep medicine because i cannot sleep on airplanes and its over 100 ml (ugh!) so if i put 100 ml in a container will they have to check my bag or anything? (basically, will it cause a delay??) thanks!
