Since the house needs alot work done and help with my family. I would like any idea's to make it easy to move and pack. And where should I start packing.

Clear out a room in the downstairs and start packing things into boxes, things that you know you will not need. Stack them up so when moving day comes it is just a matter of moving them. The biggest mistake people make is not being prepared or ready for when the day comes. As the day comes closer start disassembling things like beds etc desks anything that can be done so on moving day all you have to worry about is loading and unloading, nothing worse for friends helping you is not being prepared.

OMG! what a suprise! I am moving to Charlotte North Caroling in like 4 days and we moved into my grandmothers house for the time being while our house was being built. Moving out is going to be hard. Hire some movers to pack your stuff. Watch them very carefully to make sure they don't steal anything! Or you can just buy little plastic bins from like Wal Mart or even the Dollar Store! pack your clothes shoes and accessories in those bins ! I hope this helps!!

Get one of those rolling clothes hanger racks. Just pull all of your stuff out the closet, still on the hangers and hang em on the rack. You can also get cardboard hanging boxes to do the same thing.

Same with drawers, just get some boxes approx the same size as the drawer and just lift the whole lot and place it in the box. No folding refolding etc.

Get some friends to do the heavy stuff.

Use the right size boxes. Put heavy items, like books, in small boxes; light items, like linens and pillows, in bigger ones.Put heavier items on the bottoms of boxes, lighter items on top.
Avoid mixing items from different rooms in the same box. It will make your packing quicker and your unpacking a lot easier, too.
